Dad's First Day After First Chemo Treatment

Dad did really good during the six hour drip of chemo. He didn't have any bad side effects during it. He did get sick later on that evening after he had eaten dinner. Yesterday he had a really good day and didn't get sick. Dad and Mom got to have their first day to really relax and actually watched a movie. They've been so busy with phone calls, doctor appointments, meetings, etc, that they haven't been able to just enjoy themselves together.

The vegan diet is now out the door. The doctor wants him to gain weight and so he is no longer eating the organic vegan foods. Thank you to all of you who have brought a meal or sent a gift card. We really appreciate it. We fly out in 5 days and anticipate the sweet reunion with my family.
